Mid Century 14 Drawer Walnut Roll-Top Desk *Read description*

This is a beautiful, nearly perfect, mid-century walnut roll-top desk with 14-drawers with inlaid granite writing surface and built in light above. It is in excellent shape EXCEPT that it has been sitting open for so many years that the tanbour door, that has been rolled to the back, has warped slats in a couple of places. Obviously you cant tell when it is open, but the photos of it closed show the problem. All of the slats are intact (none are cracked or broken) but the few that are warped stick up and make it difficult to open and close. I dont think the repair is difficult except that the door needs to be removed to do it. (google how to repair a tanbour door in roll top desk) These typically sell for $1200-1800 so is worth the effort. Or just leave it open!!!!!!!
