Antique Original With Stamp Majolica Etruscan Shell and Seaweed Medium Size 5 x 7 Pitcher Pink & Greens. In excellent condition with no damage. The pitcher is decorated in relief with shells and seaweed in colors of pink, cream, green, and brown. The rim is scalloped, and the handle is branch shaped. The interior is pink, and the base is green and tan. The bottom of the pitcher bears the maker’s mark which is impressed under the glaze. The mark is the Griffen, Smith & Hill Etruscan Majolica mark, with the “GSH” in a circle. The word “Etruscan” appears above the circle and the word “Majolica” appears below the circle. Also impressed on the bottom, under the glaze, is the letter “E” and the number “26”. Measure. From late 1800s to early 1900s.
