Bernette B35 Sewing Machine Swiss Design with 23 Stitches, 7 Presser Feet, Automatic Buttonhole, Quilting, Heavy-Duty Build, LED Light, Portable Purchased September 2025. I was pleasantly surprised with the performance and quality of this machine, having used higher-end machines in the past. It did everything I needed it to do, and without problems until one day a stray thread got sucked into the side vent of the machine. I do not know how much thread it pulled in before I realized this. Because of that, the hand wheel is harder to turn and secondly, because I tried to unscrew a portion of the case to look inside (like I used to do with high end machines), the bobbin winder works, but does not automatically stop when the bobbin is full. When I tried to unscrew one screw, I heard a c, so the washer is still inside the machine. I continued to sew on this machine for a few months, even with these minor issues. I am moving cross-country and do not want to pay shipping (and eventually having it professionally repaired), so I am selling it. Will likely buy the same machine again when I settle into my new home. Retails for $419. Happy to give a sewing demonstration. I reolaced the disl knob lcd board, also opened it up and did a FULL cleanout: chassis, lint filter housing, blower motor housing all of it. Serviced everything, rollers pulley and belt, steam nozzle. All works perfectly. Reversible door. Energy star. Model number EFME617SIW0. Has some some light wear and tear scratches. Also the chrome around the display plate is a little cracked. Wanted to be up front about that, its purely cosmetic but I dropped the price a little due to that. Shown very clearly in the last pic of this listing. My units are the same as when you buy new from the store, meaning that they dont come with power cord. I DO have an assortment of all 4 main types of plug. If you send a pic of your socket and let me know what length you need, I will install the proper cord for about half of what they cost in stores.
