The sound is glorious and the action is divine. Why so cheap? Because there is a clean head stock repair that was done in the 1990s and had been stable ever since. This doesnt affect the playability at all, but it does of course affect the value, so this is more of a players guitar than a collectible. Saddle was recently reset, frets were dressed, nut, bridge and truss rod were adjusted, and new DAddario strings were installed, so this instrument is ready to play with zero issues. This Les Paul Special from 2023 is in excellent condition. I have swapped the stock tailpiece with an intonation compensated tailpiece from Mojoaxe, which looks basically the same as the stock tailpiece but really improved the intonation up and down the fretboard. The original Gibson tailpiece is included as well. Pickups and everything else are stock. Gibson got it right with these P90s, they have great character clean or with gain. The mahogany wood grain shows up beautifully on the TV yellow finish. Rosewood fingerboard is nice and dark. Neck carve is just right, exactly what a Les Paul should feel like. Original hard case in great shape. Not really much of a scratch or flaw on the guitar or as far as I can see, though it has been played. The guitar weighs 8 pounds 3 ounces. $1000

Bourgeois Artisan Series dreadnought guitar. Made in 1999, while Dana Bourgeois was still an independent, small-shop luthier. Solid Sitka spruce top with some subtle bearclaw figure. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard and bridge. Enclosed chrome tuners with small oval buttons, branded Bourgeois but probably made by Gotoh. The original plastic bridge pins have been upgraded to bone. Undersaddle piezo pickup with endpin jack (brand unknown). Comes in its original archtop hardshell case, with one broken latch. Overall its in great condition apart from light scratches all over, plus a few dings here and there. There are a few places on the fretboard where divots in the rosewood were professionally filled in with some kind of epoxy, levelled, and polished so the board is now level and smooth. Nice, low action, with room on the saddle for future adjustment. Sounds amazing acoustically - lots of power and great bluegrass tone. Please call or email if interested. NO TEXTS!! Very rare 2006 Top Hat Supreme 16 head with matching 1x12 cabinet loaded with a Celestion Blue. This is a handwired boutique amp that nails that EF86-driven Vox-style chime but with more body, touch sensitivity, and harmonic complexity than a typical AC15. Hand built by Top Hat owner Brian Gerhard. One of the first ones ever made, serial #19. Comes with double padded clamshell Studio Slip covers for the head and cabinet (these sell for $350 new). Handwired, 2-channel boutique amp running EL84 power tubes. Often described as a “hot-rodded Vox AC15,” but with more headroom, thickness, and tonal flexibility. Channel 1 (EF86): rich, harmonically complex, and very dynamic. Big chime with more body than a traditional Vox, and it moves into smooth, singing overdrive just from pick attack. Channel 2 (traditional preamp channel): brighter and more focused. Great for clean to edge-of-breakup tones and takes pedals extremely well. Can push into more aggressive British-style crunch when driven. Rated at 16 watts but plays bigger—plenty of volume for recording, rehearsal, and smaller gigs. Extremely touch-sensitive and responsive to guitar volume. The matching 1x12 cab with Celestion Blue is a huge part of the sound—classic alnico chime and compression that pairs perfectly with this circuit. Condition is very good overall. Fully functional with no issues. Tubes are strong and everything operates as it should. These don’t come up often, especially as a head + cab with a Blue.
