1970s Vintage Regency Revival Victorian Settee Matching Armchairs Nouveau Pauvre Old Money Glamour Antique Tufted Velvet Well, hello darlings. Put down the tea for a moment and let Auntie Coco tell you how this works. You see, anybody with a freshly minted credit card can go out and buy a sterile, beige sectional that looks like it was birthed inside a corporate showroom. But this—this little mustard-yellow velvet settee and matching chair set? This is pure, unadulterated our family used to own a wing of the estate before the back taxes caught up with us energy. Look at that curved frame and those delicate woven cane sides. It practically screams that it spent the last half-century tucked away in a drafty library of a sprawling ancestral home in Provence—sitting right next to a cracked oil portrait of Great-Uncle Reginald, a tower of leather-bound classics, and three pampered, slightly aggressive Persian cats. Now... off the record, darling—between you, me, and the yellow velvet—this glorious set actually rolled off a factory production line somewhere around 1974. But who on earth needs to know that? After all, the real dirty little secret of old money and the Nouveau Pauvre is that the entire enterprise is built on pure impression. It is an art form, darling, and provenance is merely a matter of framing. Did Great-Aunt Eloise lose a single nights sleep worrying over whether the small, dusty Renoir in the powder room was genuine, or just a remarkably clever forgery bought in Montmartre after too much absinthe? Of course not. She hung it in a heavy gilt frame and let the guests speculate in hushed tones. When your Great-Uncle Aloysius slipped his Patek Philippe to that notoriously corrupt French border guard on the Belgian frontier in 41, do you honestly think he paused to mention its slightly questionable provenance? Absolutely not. He simply adjusted his lapels and crossed the border. And last year, when the family’s decaying lake cottage was finally sold off to some breathless tech bro, did anyone feel compelled to point out that the grand carved mantelpiece wasnt 17th-century oak at all, but a 1920s reproduction hand-chiseled by a mysterious itinerant Russian craftsman who claimed—rather loudly—to be a cousin of the Tsarina? I dont think so. So if this set carries the soul, the silhouette, and the unapologetic glamour of an ancestral French château while secretly being a 1970s revival piece... well, that just makes it part of the tradition. You sit on the velvet, sip your Earl Grey, and let everyone else assume it survived some revolution or other. The Details and Condition: Settee: A 1970s French Revival tufted settee in vibrant mustard-gold crushed velvet with woven cane side panels approximately 4 ft long. The frame is structurally rock-solid and sturdy. The velvet upholstery shows genuine vintage wear as seen in the photos, and there is a small area of damage to one side of the woven cane it could easily be mended, but it holds fine and does not hinder use at all as-is. Matching Armchairs: Solid, sturdy frames with light, age-appropriate character and minor wear throughout, yet still completely functional and presentable. Note: The chairs likely originally held upholstered cushion pads over the seats. If you choose to reupholster them down the road, you can easily add fresh foam padding directly, slip in loose cushions of an appropriate size, or simply enjoy them as they sit today. staged images created with AI for design inspiration. I have 3 of these raised garden boxes available. They represent a growing inventory I will be building throughout the year. They are made from 2x western red cedar and are lined with a 40 mil HDPE liner. The boxes are open bottomed as are usual. Inside dimensions are 25 square. Outside measures 30 1/2 square. These are professionally built boxes, as are all of my boxes and can make these out of hemlock as well which will cost less. Price is as advertised and firm and can easily be picked up at my shop location. We are able to deliver anywhere in NE for a fee. For a clarification: Planter boxes, as I call them, are made using 1x materials. These are Raised Garden Boxes are, therefore, made using 2x materials. Which will explain a larger price difference. I will be building some Planter boxes in various sizes later and will make available plenty of photos.

This media chest was in our guest bedroom at the beach, which was used very sparingly. We brought it home to Clayton to sell to put a baby crib in its place at the beach. We used it as a dresser. Dimensions 44” wide, 19” deep & 37.5” high. It is a sturdy piece, beautifully designed and was purchased at Rooms to Go in Dunn from their clearance room. It has a hairline crack that you can barely see on the left side, which I circled in the pictures. ***Will only deal locally*** Email Dave with questions

The water softener was installed to address the well water hardness issue. It turned out not to be sufficient for the well water, which has a GPG of 65 and lots of iron and bacteria. It consists of a complete digital control display (front cover, drive assembly, and bypass valves), a main water tank, and a brine tank. Only for local pickup.
