Up for sale is this Wow Factor Massive Victorian solid mahogany twin pedestal Partners Desk which is an exact replica of Thomas Chippendales masterpiece created for Sir Rowland Winn in 1767 currently exhibited at his residence in Nostell Priory, Yorkshire UK A superb antique mahogany partners desk of generous proportions and showpiece craftsmanship. The top is a Large single solid piece of mahogany, supported on two large pedestals with distinctive medallion and lion figurehead extensive carvings on the front and sides with four doors. The interior of the 2 pedestals boasts drawers to one side and vertical file dividers on opposite side. This Exceptionally opulent piece is based on the famous mahogany library table made by Thomas Chippendale for Sir Rowland Winn in 1767, supplied to his residence at Nostell Priory in Yorkshire This desk really is a masterpiece, aside from being glorious to look at, an antique in its own right and something that will skyrocket in value in the years to come. It’s a very functional piece, naturally designed for two to share, with similar designs on both sides; hence the partners desk attributation. one side has large drawers, all 100% solid mahogany, handmade dovetail joints, the other side has large slotted box file type storage for folders and talls documents etc. The Large top is also another crowning glory of this amazing desk! It features such a bold and beautiful leather top design with gilt trimming that is eye-catching and really renders this into the spectacular piece it is. The English made hardware speaks to Hepplewhite styling with a gorgeous gunmetal / Golden polished tone. Being a veritable antique in its own right, it has some wear and tear expected for its age. There are some cracks on a few sides of the pedestal , they do not affect use but this might benefit from a reputable restoration specialist. Price is reflective of this call-out. Yes! We still have the couch, next question. It’s very heavy and you may want to arrange to have help loading it. I will delete the ad within an hour of it being sold. We asked Alta Pest Control to treat for mice, where we were going to have to store things in the garage. The tech told me he would not put the traps in the garage because that would draw mice IN to the garage. I believed him and I uncovered the sofa a couple days before a buyer who was going to pay $150 for it, was coming. No damage was on it when I uncovered it. If you want to have it reupholstered (KAD in Georgetown on Williams Dr. is great) or just put a cover over it, this is so comfortable. A mouse chewed several holes around the center console - see photos. We put a trap in the garage and caught the mouse. From a non-smoking home. 2-recliner sofa. Two Drink and remote holders in center console. Very comfortable and lays back to your comfort level. There are some small existing holes in the back, new holes caused by mice by the center arm rest (see pix 5 & 6 - they are of the same spot) and one on the left side as you are facing it. If that arm is against a wall, no one would see it. Color looks like photo 1 in front of brick wall. It’s 7’ wide x 33” x 36” tall at highest point. Delivery fee to your curb is based on distance and time round trip at $35/hr. No cashiers cheques or shipping agents. PayPal , Venmo or cash is acceptable. NOTE: Listing will be deleted once item is sold. Most inquiries as to whether it is still available turn out to be spammers so Im now ignoring those.
