Antique Early 20thC Gamewell Police, Fire Telegraph Call Box. Circa 1910 - 1920. Patent 1900. No key, but it does open up. Box is about 40 lbs. Below is some information I found on Worthpoint that sold the same call box. Cast Iron Electric Call Box. This is the inner box, and it is missing the waterproof cast iron outer case and door. Measuring 10 wide by 16 ½ tall by 5 deep, this heavy cast iron Alarm Box is in very good condition. At the top is a curved brass plaque that is marked, F Wagon, S Wagon, Ambulance, Reserves and Reports 1, 2 & 3. A policeman on his beat would use this box to be in communication with the police station. F. Wagon was for fast meaning emergency and send the paddy wagon as soon as possible. S Wagon was for slow meaning no big hurry. The Ambulance is for medical help and Reserves is for extra policeman. Reports 1, 2 & 3 represented an officers duty report. Report 1 was for I am at my assigned post and I am beginning my shift. Report 2 was on duty everything is all right. Report 2 may be pulled at various intervals throughout the officers shift. Report 3 was I have completed my shift and will be returning to headquarters shortly. Located in Hillsboro off of Witch Hazel Rd. Call or text is best.

Antique WW1 1914-18 The Great War For Civilization US Bronze Victory Medal. It is called an Inter-Allied service medal. The World War I Victory Medal was a United States service medal designed by James Earle Fraser of New York City under the direction of the Commission of Fine Arts. Award of a common allied service medal was recommended by an inter-allied committee in March 1919. Each allied nation would design a Victory Medal for award to their military personnel, all issues having certain common features, including a winged figure of victory on the obverse and the same ribbon. The front of the bronze medal features a winged Victory holding a shield and sword on the front. The back of the bronze medal features The Great War For Civilization in all capital letters curved along the top of the medal. Curved along the bottom of the back of the medal are six stars, three on either side of the center column of seven staffs wrapped in a cord. The top of the staff has a round ball on top and is winged on the side. The staff is on top of a shield that says U on the left side of the staff and S on the right side of the staff. On left side of the staff it lists one World War I Allied country per line: France, Italy, Serbia, Japan, Montenegro, Russia, and Greece. On the right side of the staff the Allied country names read: Great Britain, Belgium, Brazil, Portugal, Rumania, and China.
