A., - Torrejón de ArdozMadrid Printed in Spain 308 pages Edited by Miguel Sanchez With notes and introduction by Ricardo Villa-Real Illustrations: Offo - Madrid Like new vintage hardcover book with gilt lettering and embellishment on red leatherpiel in Spanishbound cover and gilt to the tops of the pages. With the original mylar type jacket as a clear book protector and green 2.5 strip inside the mylar stating: A book edited in Granada and awarded with 32 colour engravings from the time when Washington Irving housed at the Alhambra. Measures about 7.5 x 5.25 x 1 inches Near mint. No writing, owners label, folds, creases, smudges or tears. A few small nicks to the plastic cover. Bumps on the first few photos are also on the plastic; it has d 1 its job protecting the cover which appears near mint. The page paper is not bright white but a sort of ivory color and that color appears evenly throughout the book. A few rub marks to the page edges. The book appears unread, and I didnt open it much to photograph so some of the photos are at an angle trying to peer in. The floral design on the front is all gold color, Im not sure why my camera picked it up as partially black.
