Used - like new This Vintage Imperial Glass Purple Slag Glass Dolphin Handle Covered Jar is a unique and exquisite piece. The purple slag glass has vintage charm, the dolphin handles are not only functional but elegant. The knob on the lid looks like its the pointed top part of a pinecone. Perfect for collectors. No exterior chips, cracks or crazing. (There is a small, very small, chip on the inner part of the lid that fits inside of the base. Its so small I couldnt get a picture that shows it. I only realized it was there when I ran my finger around the edges checking for imperfections.) -The slag glass shows blue when a black light is on it, I havent tried it, only have the picture. Free standing unit with window venting kit. Works really well, I’ve loved it and had no issues with it at all. I used it in conjunction with a fan to keep my 550 sf apartment comfortable this summer. That’s more sf than it’s recommended for but I found it effective. Has a timer function which is nice for automatically turning off during the night.
