Made in 1987 this may be a last year example of the Perfect model, an older design used by manual shifting systems (before index shifting). You can see the cog teeth show no discernible wear, indicating low mileage. Ratcheting mechanism makes a smooth sweet sound,,,no gritty noise from dirt inside. Suntours five and six speed Perfects like this one had been in production for around 15 years prior. Improved designs made in the 1980s were the Pro Compe and Superbe models followed by Suntours index shifting system called Accushift, which came out around 1987-88.

These wheels are in good shape, no issues except for some normal wear. They came from an older 70 s bike that had been converted to single speed, so no cassette included. The original skewers were not included either, but I found a set of Shimano skewers that do the job perfectly fine. The rear hub spacing is 126 mm, good for older steel frames. The hubs are Campagnolo 8 speed, probably Mirage but Im not positive. Call or text me at 916-296-5968. Bought for a 2002 VROD and never used, should fit up to 2006 No nicks, dings, or scuffs, wont disappoint. The air box cover is no longer available painted from Mr. Harley, and priced at $656 primered, and the fenders are not available at all. $500 total for the 3 piece set. A bargain when compared to Ebay where nice tin sets start at $1,000 and go up and likely cant see them in person first. Custom painted fenders in Midnight Blue with Silver flames, very well d 1, but with a couple of scratches. Front fender $50 with scratch on tip, rear fender $50 with small scratches on sides, or both of the Blue fenders for $90. Should touch up for usable pieces, no matching air box cover.
