Selling a vintage 1940s-50s Art Deco “waterfall” style vanity with the rare matching bench for $120 cash. You could always restore, upcycle, or just resell this vanity and make a nice profit, my loss your gain. This sought after vanity dresser was made by F.S. Harmon Company (they dont make sturdy furniture like this any more)! CONDITION (see all pics): The vintage waterfall style dresser vanity is well-made from maple wood and has the original light brown finish. There are surface scratches, water marks, and dings commensurate with age (adds character) and is reflected in the price. This collectable vanity with lots of style and character measures: 48” Wide x 60” Tall (to top of round mirror) x 30” Deep. FEATURES: The Art-Deco design has 4 rounded wooden drawer pull handles. Has light color wood inlay stripe details on front of the vanity shelf. Has tight dove-tail joints on all 4 deep drawers that open and close easily. Has a split level surface and a nice ribbon-like design under the round mirror. Has stylish ribbed accent trim on the drawer sides and fancy scalloped feet details. There are no cracks, chips, or nicks in the original beveled round frameless mirror (easily detaches). The sturdy rear to find matching bench fits neatly under the vanity shelf. The bench measures: 28” Wide x 28” Tall x 24” Deep. USE: This sturdy vanity / dresser would look great in a master bedroom, teens room, entry hallway, or she-shed. Use as a make-up vanity, as a dresser to store your delicate items in the deep drawers, or as computer desk. Or restore the original wood finish, upholster the bench with fabric, or paint and decal to match your décor. Or repurpose and transform the drawer banks into 2 end tables or night stands (see last pics for project upcycling ideas). I removed the mirror (reattached with screws) to fit the vanity into the back of my Subaru Forester for easy transport. Will meet buyer in the Key Bank Parking lot located in Niskayuna Square at junctions of Balltown and Consaul Roads (next to Hannaford’s parking lot) to make the cash transaction. Yes! We still have the couch, next question. It’s very heavy and you may want to arrange to have help loading it. I will delete the ad within an hour of it being sold. We asked Alta Pest Control to treat for mice, where we were going to have to store things in the garage. The tech told me he would not put the traps in the garage because that would draw mice IN to the garage. I believed him and I uncovered the sofa a couple days before a buyer who was going to pay $150 for it, was coming. No damage was on it when I uncovered it. If you want to have it reupholstered (KAD in Georgetown on Williams Dr. is great) or just put a cover over it, this is so comfortable. A mouse chewed several holes around the center console - see photos. We put a trap in the garage and caught the mouse. From a non-smoking home. 2-recliner sofa. Two Drink and remote holders in center console. Very comfortable and lays back to your comfort level. There are some small existing holes in the back, new holes caused by mice by the center arm rest (see pix 5 & 6 - they are of the same spot) and one on the left side as you are facing it. If that arm is against a wall, no one would see it. Color looks like photo 1 in front of brick wall. It’s 7’ wide x 33” x 36” tall at highest point. Delivery fee to your curb is based on distance and time round trip at $35/hr. No cashiers cheques or shipping agents. PayPal , Venmo or cash is acceptable. NOTE: Listing will be deleted once item is sold. Most inquiries as to whether it is still available turn out to be spammers so Im now ignoring those. Pretend you asked if its available, I said, yes and then ask your question. Dont ask me to write you at a personal email address. The craigslist method works just fine.
