Vintage 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard Ebony/Black with Original Gibson Hardshell Case, Original Pickguard in Good to Very Good Condition. Guitar is stock all original with 490R and 498T pickups. Comes with a new set of Ernie Ball 2221 Regular Sy 10-46 strings. 60s neck carve and the fretboard and frets are in excellent condition! Weighs about 9.5 lbs. on my bathroom scale. Plays and sounds great! Has normal wear and tear for a 25-year-old Vintage Gibson Les Paul Standard with swirl marks, small scratches throughout the body with some buckle rash on the back of the body. The face of the headstock is a bit dusty and could use a wipe down. Some small finish cracks/scratches on each side of the neck located around the first fret area. The cracks/scratches are cosmetic and do not have any effect on the guitars playability. The original Gibson case is in good condition and all latches work. Previously owned for 20 years by Faith No More and Sparks guitarist Dean Menta. I bought this Les Paul from him. Boss DD-5 Digital Delay: discontinued workhorse from the classic DD line. Up to 2000ms of delay, stereo outputs, reverse mode, hold/loop mode, and tap tempo input (works with an external footswitch). Warmer, slightly lo-fi digital character that the newer DD-8 actually includes a mode to imitate. Condition: Tested and fully working. Cosmetically an honest 6/10 with normal wear (see photos). Up for your consideration is a made in Oregon USa Catalinbread Cloak Reverb with Shimmer and Reverb FX. The cloak is in minty excellent condition. Please contact me for friendly demo or purchase. Includes original box, bag and Sticker candy. The Cloak began after unearthing some ancient texts containing some forbidden incantations on how to introduce spectral elements within a decaying echo. Ok, we’re embellishing a bit; but the inspiration came from the land of academia and the acoustics department at Stanford, where a treatise on the optimal shimmer effect was penned a handful of years back. In a similar pursuit of perfection, we’ve drawn inspiration from a combination of research and our own endeavors to craft a truly superb take on shimmer reverb. At its core, the Cloak is a “room” style reverb that sounds amazing on its own, but with a twist of the Shimmer knob, rich, harmonically-laden overtones creep in, emphasizing three different orders of harmonics within the trails. A specially-designed low-pass filter steps in and smooths the harmonics out before they get too out of hand and wreck up the signal path. The size of the room can be effortlessly dialed in, from a cramped broom closet to as close to infinity as we can possibly muster. This comes in handy when deciding on which type of switching you prefer; the Cloak offers up true bypass switching that cuts off the reverb trails when the Cloak is disengaged, or buffered bypass, which keeps the decay going even after switching off—your pick. Model C-600 Concert Classical Guitar made by Australian luthier Lance Litchfield. Cedar top and rosewood sides and back, a date of January 2008, and original Hiscox Pro II Flitelite case. The guitar is in excellent condition with a small string ding under the bridge. Please see pictures. I am the original owner. My asking price is $3500 OBO including case. Terms are cash only, and all sales final. Here is the luthiers information: C600 Neck/body joint - Spanish construction; with a complete “Through” neck, foot and heel to the sound hole. This is to minimize energy loss, tonal dead spots, unwanted overtones and vibration while allowing maximum rigidity for sustain, evenness and projection and depth. Neck – The “through” neck, foot and heel provides a solid grounding for fingering above the 12th fret, which assists in evenness and depth. There is a low head angle to assist the feeling of lower string tension, and also produces less friction, less string breakage, and easier tuning. Back & Sides - Modern thickness and bracing plus rigid linings. This combination produces a clean, pure tone and heightens traits like sustain, evenness, projection and depth. 4 transverse braces with spine, two piece back and sides. Top - Light “traditional” top with carbon composites. Strutting is modified fan bracing. This system was developed to produce a familiar traditional tone and (improved) response while creating a guitar with great dynamics such as volume and sustain. Bridge - Laminated timber with some carbon inserts. I use a more structurally efficient timber than typical rosewood to minimize weight and maximize strength. The modern scalloped design works in tandem with strutting under the top, and features 12 holes as standard. Fingerboard – I use Ebonies, which are slotted with a machine using CNC drilled templates much more accurate than a human eye can see. Finish – Meticulously applied Nitrocellulose lacquer provides the ultimate combination of clarity, serviceability, durability and flexibility. A matt finish on the tops allows absolutely minimal thickness for sound, while the glass-like polish on the body shows the high-grade materials for the feature they are. Tone – The C600 tone is characterized with brightness, separation, clarity and a cool depth and silkiness. As with all my guitars they have outstanding volume, playability, touch, and sustain. Opinion of the Luthier - The response is strong and even. The player feels invited to linger upon the note, as its tonal characteristics are mated to the dynamics of the guitar. Overtones, depth, touch and control, rise and fall during the length of the note. This is a different kind of pattern to a very traditional guitar, which has a richness that is more “static” and not as “clean”.
