Excellent, all South American mahogany Martin dreadnought, with some notable upgrades. The bridge, fretboard and headstock overlay are Indian rosewood. Bridge pins upgraded to ebony with copper ring and abalone dots. The original synthetic saddle has been replaced with natural bone. The chrome, enclosed Martin tuners were replaced with Grover Sta-tite 18:1 open back tuners. Finally, an LR Baggs Element undersaddle pickup was added, with a volume control mounted in the sound hole and a 1/4 endpin jack. The original Martin thermoplastic case is included. Its in excellent condition except for one repaired top crack behind the bridge (see photos). Otherwise, there is surprisingly little wear. The top has been polished out to semi-gloss, while the rest is the original satin finish. Very little fret wear, and the action is nice and low. Plays very easily, and it has a well broken-in, warm tone. This is one of Martins most popular models, and for good reason! Please call or email me if youd like to check it out (or ask questions). Dimarzio nickel Fortitude f spaced bridge pickup. This was designed in conjunction with the guy in Gojura. It is not a hot pickup though. It is basically a 36th anniversary PAF with added low mids.
