1 Chinese Nephrite [S.G.=2.95] One-Horned Goat or Antelope Figurine

This pale green nephrite [its specific gravity measures 2.95] has been carved into a little bug-eyed one-horned goat or antelope complete with a smile. It stands 1 3/4 inches tall.... maybe 5 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest point. There is some noticeable erosion. The nephrite is hard and glossy.... scratch tested with a Victorian carbon steel lancet. It weighs about 180 grams. There appears to be a small chip or abrasion on the top of the left ear Age guesstimate: early 20th C.
