Field Technician

The Crystal Lakes Water & Sewer Association is seeking a part-time, seasonal Field Technician to help with our busy summer season. Work close to home, learn more about your community and work with a fun, dedicated team! Typical hours are 8:00am-12:00 noon, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend on-call. Position Title: Field Technician (Seasonal) Position Description: Part-time, onsite, seasonal field technician for a large-scale mountain community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Water Delivery will be the position’s main responsibility, hauling water to cisterns within the 6th Filing Water area. • Daily monitoring 6th Filing fill stations and treatment plant. • Chlorine residual testing as needed, under the direction of the Field Supervisor • Service line repair/replacement, under the direction of the Field Supervisor • Monitoring of chlorine solution tank • Performing other water and sewer duties within in the community as needed under the direction of the Field Supervisor Candidate Skills and Attributes: • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Time management skills • Professional demeanor • Self-starter • Ability to practice confidentiality • Team player • General understanding of water hauling and testing • Physical strength – able to lift 50lbs regularly with occasional need to lift heavier items (with assistance) Compensation: • Seasonal part-time, May 1st through September 30th • Hourly position, not to excel 20 hours per week without prior approval of Field Supervisor • Pay rate negotiable • There are no benefits offered with this position Prerequisites: • Must be lawfully eligible for employment • High school diploma or equivalent • Background check may be required • Drug testing may be required Job Type: Part-time, 20 hours per week Salary: $18.00 – 20.00 per hour Schedule: • 4-hour shift • Monday to Friday • On call possible (paid, 4-hour maximum) • Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: • Red Feather Lakes, CO 80545: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) License/Certification: • Driver’s License (Required) Work Location: In person
