This is a lovely custom handmade quilt titled Sea and Sky in CNY that measures 99 x 100 (will fit king size bed), pattern name is Maple Cabin, created locally in 2019 by 3 local talented quilters with decades of experience. Identification label attached to the back of the quilt. Multi-colored using the very familiar colors of Central New York State, featuring leaves, waterfall, sky, woodland scene, and ducks. The backing is golden yellow batik, whole cloth with cotton fill. It is machine pieced. Blue edging has mitered corners and is handsewn to the back of the quilt. Hanging sleeve sewn on the back of the quilt for display purposes. This is a gorgeous quilt that will be appreciated by a buyer who loves nature in CNY and local crafts/talents. This quilt was appraised for $850 in March 2026.

I got a tuxedo cat a while ago and his name is Mr. Mooney. I have painted in bright colors for years and then suddenly I found myself painting in black and white. I think it was the influence of Mr. Mooney. There is a whole series with different sizes and shapes of paintings in this series. Some are about 4 foot long and only 5 wide! I call those Mr. Mooney Tails. ;) The joke is, that Mr. Mooney is a Manx cat, thus no tail. heh The prices vary from about $225 - $999-ish. The robot feels rather out of place in this sea of Mooney. Poor robot.

My homage to Oumuamua--77 long by 12 wide by 7 high. Wood, epoxy, paint and steel. The sculpture is a piece of drif 2 od from the Mississippi found near Pigs Eye. Approximately 20 coats of paint and epoxy. Black with a brick red rub through to match the astronomers descriptions of the extraterrestrial space probe. The base is steel and the pedestal is black cherry with a maple saddle. The saddle is contoured so Oumuamua sits freely nestled into the saddle. You have to see this 1 in person to appreciate it. From Wikipedia: The name comes from Hawaiian ʻoumuamua scout 40 from ʻou reach out for, and mua, reduplicated for emphasis first, in advance of 4, and reflects the way the object is like a scout or messenger sent from the distant past to reach out to humanity.
