This is a very nice Jacobean style dining room table and chair set that is probably from the 1920 s or 1930 s. The table top has been painted black with the oak wood on the sides have been stained and has several coats of polyurethane for maximum protection. It measures 40 wide by 60 long and is 30.5 high. The 212 leaves on the table pull out and pop up from each end to extend the table to 84 long. The chairs have all be restored and re-glued and are very sturdy. The side chair seats are 19 wide and 19 high. The captains chair seat is 21 wide and 19 high. The arms are 24 wide. This dining set is now ready for a new home. This table and 2 chairs is vintage 1950 s and is in excellent condition. The table top has been refinished and the legs and chairs have been restored back to their original finish. The table top was a different type of wood so is a little darker than the chairs and table legs. It has been sprayed with a number of coats of polyurethane for maximum protection. This set was given to my niece and nephew in the early 1970 s but was used by some other child in the 20 years prior to them getting it. The table and chairs are in like new condition and the decal on the back of the chairs are totally intact and are original. This is a beautiful dining table that has an inlaid design around the center of the table. I believe that it is cherry wood. It is 44 round but has a 15 leaf hidden under the table that when opened makes the table oval and measures 44 wide x 59 long. It is 30 high. It has a pedestal base that has 4 legs. The table top has been refinished and has a polyurethane finish for maximum protection. The base has been restored back to its original finish. It has a very fine inlaid design in the middle of the table that is a circular pattern of small leaves. I was told that it was made at the Hickory Chair Company which makes high quality furniture. This desk is from the 1940 s and has the waterfall front on it. The chair came with it. The desk and chair were in my house growing up and then in the 60 s was loaned to my aunt and uncle and they antiqued it which was a popular trend in the 60 s. We have just repainted it with the Annie Sloan French Linen chalk paint and put a black wax on it and then put a coat of polyurethane for extra protection. The chair is also painted the same color and the seat has been reupholstered. The drawer pulls have also been painted black. The drawers are all dovetailed. The desk measures 40 wide x 20 deep x 30 high. The knee hole opening is 17.5 wide x 23 high. This is a great desk for a student because of its size. This chest of drawers is a reproduction by the Lewisburg Chair and Furniture Company in Lewisburg PA.and is a Pennsylvania House Reproduction of an Independence Hall chest of drawers. I am not sure the exact date it was made but on the sticker in 1 of the drawers it was before we had zip codes and abbreviated state names since it still has Penn. instead of PA. It has been totally refinished and restored back to its original finish. I believe it is cherry wood. It has 3 large drawers and 2 small drawers and there are 2 cubbies with drawers on the top of the chest of drawers. All the drawers are dovetailed and slide easily. The mirror is in excellent condition. The chest of drawers measure 44 wide x 20 deep x 36 high and is 73 high to the top of the mirror. This is a beautiful piece of furniture that would be a great addition to any bedroom and is now ready for a new home. This beautiful Duncan Phyfe style dining room set was probably made in the late 1930 s or early 1940 s era. The table legs have the lyre design in the middle of each leg that matches the lyre backs on the chairs. The table top has been refinished and the legs have been cleaned and restored back to their original finish and the brass feet on the table legs are original, There are 5 side chairs and 1 captains chair that have been re-glued, restored, and the seats all have new upholstery. There are 312 leaves that can be inserted to expand the table to 98. There are the original table pads that are still in excellent condition. The table has 2 drop leaves that can be popped up into place or left down when you want the table smaller. The table with the drop leaves down is 42 wide by 32 long and 29.5 high. With the drop leaves up the table expands to 42 wide by 62 long. With all the leaves in, the table expands to 98 long. The Duncan Phyfe style tables are so versatile because you have so many size options depending on how many guests you have.Anywhere from 2-12 people.The chair seats are 18 wide and 18 high and the backs are 38 high. The captains chair seat is 20 wide so a little wider than the side chairs. The table and chairs are all in excellent condition and are ready for a new home.
