Civil War era 1860s arched top Wall Mirror/ original paint pinstriped
Beautiful form of 160 years ago. I have another or I wouldn’t part with it hanging in the house. I believe the glass is original to the piece. There is slight clouding on the mirror but not bad, considering it’s age. It has a brown paint treatment over gesso with an elegant pin strip (pls see photos). Rough cut saw marks on the primitive back of solid old growth redwood. I believe this mirror was made on the West Coast. It measures 31 inches tall x 16 1/2 inches wide.
