North American Electric PR56C2M2A AC motor 2hp TEFC 3480 RPM 56c frame

We got this motor from a business closing sale and it is Brand new. For some reason when we run it it heats up. We may have a wiring problem or some other issue we cant figure out. Maybe theres a shorted wire inside or we dont know. If you have this exact model maybe you can swap out the frames and make 1 perfect motor out of the 2.Maybe you have a physically damaged 1 and just need certain parts off this 1. Just call and ask .
