This china cabinet originally had curved glass in the door and side panels but unfortunately the glass was broken in the last move so was replaced with chicken wire. The china cabinet is oak and the door is quarter sawn wood which brings out the beautiful grain in the wood. The chicken wire has been painted with an antique bronze to match the wood color. It has the 4 original shelves and all have the plate slot in the back of each shelf for display purposes. It has a clawfoot leg on the front two legs. There is a tag on the back showing it was made for Mrs. Danl Whitesell in Tatamy, PA. It was made by the Larkin Company in Factory 12 in Buffalo, NY. There are also two tags on the back informing you how to care for your cabinet. The cabinet measures 41.5wide x 17deep x 62high. If interested call Sharon at the number in the contact info box. This set of 4 chairs have all been re-glued and restored to their original finish and are very sturdy. The seats have been recovered over the original horse hair padding. I added some foam for more padding. I have never seen this kind of chair seat and it was quite a challenge to recover them. The backs and legs on the chairs are all the same but the braces on 1 of the chairs has dowels and not the square brace and center brace. Some time in the past the owners much have changed the brace 1 chair. You can see in the pictures the difference in the 1 chair. It is still as sturdy as the other 3 chairs. The seats are 18 wide and 19 high and the backs are 35 high. These chairs are now ready for a new home! If interested call Sharon at the number listed in the reply box.719-488-3778.
