JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: • Must have strong customer service skills; enjoy working in an environment with extensive public contact. • Ability to learn park rules, area information, and educate park visitors. • Ability to follow directions, manage multiple tasks to parks standards and complete tasks in a timely manner. • Ability to work in all weather conditions. • Must be available to work evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. • Position requires frequent standing, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and repetitive forward and overhead reaching. Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire. Hosts must abide by Linn County Parks campground rules. Must live on site; maintain a tidy, free of clutter, campsite; must have a self-contained recreational vehicle; approved RV must be fully operational, clean in appearance, well maintained and in good working condition.
