SMOOTHIE BARISTA POSITION A smoothie barista at Local Juicery is a fun, fast paced, and community connected job. It’s high energy and people facing. We’re looking for people who have a real interest in health and hospitality. RESPONSIBILITIES -Passion for diving into the Local Juicery brand and enthusiasm for learning more -Available to work a minimum of 25 hours/week AND a minimum of 3 days. Also, the flexibility to cover shifts for coworkers when emergencies arise. -This job requires frequently lifting up to 60 pounds and walking/carrying things. -Ready to learn, dive in with an amazing attitude, and deliver amazing products to our community! -Ability to receive and inventory orders, check-in produce, place produce inventory and keep quality control. -Work with your team and manager to handle any conflicts, always striving to speak up in support of yourself, the business and the team. -Bringing positive energy into the store. -Working well with other team members -Follow all policies, procedures, recipes, health codes, and safety regulations. -Learn to operate all necessary equipment -Keep a clean and thoughtful workspace throughout your shift WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR -A passion for food, people, and health -Self motivated and team oriented individuals -1-2 years experience working in a food service establishment (preferred) - Food prep or kitchen experience is a plus but not required -Someone who cares deeply about supporting people health with food! - Potential for upward mobility for the right person BENEFITS - #1 An Extremely positive working environment.
