EXQUISITE, SEMI-ANTIQUE, HAND-KNOTTED, SABSEVAR, ORIENTAL RUG 12.5x9.6

This is a fantastically beautiful, and exceptionally designed, Semi-Antique, SABSEVAR Oriental rug that was hand-knotted in the 1950s, in Turkey. It is unique because of the beautiful 16 petal Lotus Leaf central medallion, which gives this rug richness and its own unique design that sets it apart from any others. Further, the colors of the rug are also rich and spectacular, giving this rug a real presence. This SABSEVAR is in excellent condition, with no wear spots or stains. It took approximately 3600 man hours to produce this magnificent rug. So it has handwork that is irreplaceable today. The exact size is 12.5x9.6 (so about 12 and a half by 9 and a half, in size). This extra 6 inches beyond the standard 9x12 makes this a perfect piece if used in a dining room, so the chairs say on the rug; and it also give a little extra size and importance to a larger room, like a living room or family room if used there. This SABSEVAR is in excellent condition with no wear spots or flaws. We used this gorgeous rug to stage an upper bracket home that has now sold. (We take the rugs back after the staging and sell them for a portion of their cost to reduce the staging fees.) It gave the room a richness that was impressive and made the house look so beautiful and yet comfortable.At retail this rug would retail for about $7500, But it is Just $1475 here since the staging fee paid for the bulk of the cost.
