This is a two-tier mahogany pie crust table, also known as a dumbwaiter or tea table, typically made in the Chippendale or Georgian style. It features distinctive scalloped or raised edges on both tiers, which gives it the pie crust name. The table has a central pedestal column with intricate carving. It stands on three legs (a tripod base) with carved ball and claw feet. These types of tables were popular in the 18th century and were used for serving tea or dessert, allowing guests to serve themselves without a servant present. Founded in 1903, the company operated until it was sold in 1954
