A very nice example of a 1960s Danish Modern style rocking chair in the style of Hans Wegner. This is an original piece from the 1960s. The angle of the seat is ultimately comfortable. The seat and back are of a twisted rope like material, the original owner called it “jute”. It’s a very sturdy and substantial chair, the finish looks in perfect condition. It’s not faded like many you see, and there really aren’t any problems with the twisted cord. Some slight, possibly water marks (pictured). It’s completely ready for use and enjoyment. It measures 24 1/2 inches wide x 37 inches tall x 32 inches deep. The seat height graduates from 13-19 inches from the floor standing still.
