Trained to single strand electric fence. Calf (no ear tag yet, born 9/21/26) is half Red Angus, 1/4 Galloway, 1/8 British White, 1/8 Hereford. Good grazing genetics, our herd is 100% grass fed. This is second calf out of this cow, first one is still here in our herd if youd like to see how her calves grow. Selling because she is out of sync with our breeding season. We are selling at: $5.75 per lb. hanging weight for whole beef, $6.00 for half, and $6.25 for quarter (includes the slaughter/kill fee). The cut and wrap cost to the local butcher shop is separate at about $1 to $1.30 per lb. hanging. A whole beef typically hangs between 630 to 700 pounds. For example, if your beef hung at 650 lbs, your total price for a quarter would be around $1,180, $2,300 for half, and $4,390 for whole beef.
