Here we have a very handsome antique carved Jacobean style side table or liquor cabinet. This one is made by Kittinger in Solid American Walnut. From Wiki: In 1913, Irvine J. Kittinger, George Colies son-in-law, and his brother Ralph purchased the company from the Colie family and changed the companys name to the Kittinger Furniture Company. Under the Kittinger familys control, the companys primary focus was to craft the highest quality furniture possible with Irvine Kittinger saying Our business is not primarily to turn furniture into money, but to produce something really worthwhile. By 1929, the company was grossing $1,000,000 annually. Kittinger built this piece specifically for a business executive in 1929. There is a brass company Inventory Tag claiming it as property belonging to Press Wireless, please see photo. Press Wireless was a global shortwave radiotelegraphy company founded in 1929 who was responsible for collating news headlines and sending them out via hand-keyed morse code and shortwave radio way back in the day. This little locking cupboard was used for stashing bootleg liquor during the Prohibition Era. Theres plenty of patina inside indicating such use ;-) Wonderful overall condition, extraordinary detail and quality construction throughout. One open cubby above which happens to fit old-fashioned glasses just fine and a locking cabinet below. There is one adjustable shelf inside and a three-number combination lock hidden behind a sliding brass tag on the door. Unfortunately I don’t have the combination for the lock. The lock is damaged, please see magnified photo. Im guessing it could be replaced. Paneled and finished in all four sides, it can be floated in the middle of a room next to your favorite leather club chair. It measures 20.25 inches wide by 17 inches deep by 30.5 inches tall. Its in very good condition, there is wear commensurate with age and use. As mentioned above, there are drink rings on the inside of the cabinet and evidence of liquor bottles banging around inside. Between the News and the Booze, imagine the stories this piece could tell! Fabulous moldings and carved details, a lovely dark finish, brass hardware, adorable bun feet, japanned copper flash hinges and two spring loaded ball catches on the cupboard door. The original metal tag and paper labels are still present on the underside. A super stylish and very rare Hooch cabinet… thanks for looking!!! Dimensions 20.25ʺW × 17ʺD × 30.5ʺH

Bought this rarity years ago with the intent of taking it to Skip for a guitar amp conversion. Alas is bee kicking it in a box long enough. Instead maybe it will pay for a couple trips to Skips in Loma Rica. Meet up in town. Weekends are typically best but maybe later in the evening during the week.

Admiral upright electric 240v dryer. 7 cu ft. The legacy platform, all analog nothing digital to prematurely fail. Great shape functionally and cosmetically. Normal wear and tear. Multiple temp options and cycle combos including air fluff. THIS unit got a full refurbish. Cleaned out thoroughly, chassis, lint filter chute. Replaced motor pulley. Serviced belt pulley. Belt is in good shape. Put it through testing protocols, runs well even under load. Heat is good. Temp control. Etc. Rolls well. Door seal is good. Timed dry works well and air fluff with no heat as well. Everything is tip top and working perfectly like all my units. No sticking on the timer, everything runs smooth. This unit has been running strong for many years. Drum has some paint worn off, as shown in the pics. Cleaned up the back honeycomb screen with a wire brush. Lint tray is in good shape which is rare for units this age. Tested element and all thermostats and fuses. Model number ADE7005AYW. My units are the same as when you buy new from the store, meaning that they do not come with power cord. I DO have an assortment of all 4 main types of plug. If you send a pic of your socket and let me know what length you need, I will install the proper cord for about half of what they cost in stores. In town, priced right, can deliver for a very modest fee dependant upon location. Installation available and priced on a case by case basis. I also have lots of accessories available cheaper than the store. Call or text, anytime day or night. Text is preferrable to calls, and I never check my email. Local only, no codes or third parties, etc. 5 oh five, 5 eight 9, eight eight 3 nine. $180 firm, is an excellent old school analog tank type unit, those usually sell and move quick for $230 or more. I accept cash, zelle, venmo, cashapp and metapay. Cash is preferred. Sold as-is. Although I will say I stand by my work, while there is no warranty express or implied; on the off chance something goes out in the first lil while after purchase, we will figure out a way to make it right. This is at my discretion, usually repair or replace free of charge. There are some things I dont cover, or that might have a deductible....but pretty much anything excepting catastrophic failure is something we can get taken care of. Sometimes I buy broken, unwanted or non-working appliances as well as led and plasma tvs. I can offer cash, or a higher trade-in discount. Get me the model number and condition and we shall see. Every one of my units is personally inspected and tested by me, in real world conditions. By hand. Never from a row of open box units and store returns. This listing is for this specific unit, with a unique condition and price. Thanks for your time, I wont waste yours.
