Pierce & Son, a historic American chair manufacturer established in 1830 Gardner, MA, with this trio bearing the makers paper label from their Brooklyn, NY location — 115-117-1194 th Avenue. Circa early 1900 s 1920 s. Classic lawyers or bankers chair styling: vertical slat backs, curved pressed-wood arms, and solid wood seats, finished in a rich dark walnut-t 1 d stain. This design was the standard for law offices, courthouses, and banks in the early 20 th century — sturdy, comfortable, and built to last. Condition: structurally sound, some surface wear on all with 1 seat showing some water damage, finish loss consistent with age, a few legs loose leg supports have been glued.
