This djembe is made from a solid piece of plantation grown mahogany wood. It is hand carved with a horizontal ripple motif that suggests a flowing river. The hand selected goat skin head is secured and tuned with the traditional Mali Weave system. Includes cap that protects the drum with a heavy-duty reinforced top and extra-long skirt.
