This is a fantastically beautiful, and exceptionally designed, Semi-Antique, SABSEVAR Oriental rug that was hand-knotted in the 1950s, in Turkey. It is a fairly uniquely designed rug, because of the featured Central medallion, which is surrounded by16 Lotus Leaves, and the dark ebony surround at each end of the field with its arc-shaped, curved design of shaped leaves. The detail in this rug, and the color pallet, are truly incredible. The red in this rug is both rich and vibrant and make a strong impression wherever it is placed. This SABSEVAR is in excellent condition, with no wear spots or stains. It took approximately 3600 man hours to produce this magnificent rug. So it has handwork, and an artful design, that is irreplaceable today. The exact size is 12.5x9.6. It is in excellent condition with no wear spots or flaws. We used this to stage an upper bracket home that has now sold. (We take the rugs back after the staging and sell them for a portion of their cost to reduce the staging fees.) It gave the room a richness that was impressive and made the house look so beautiful and yet comfortable. At retail this rug would retail for about $7500, But it is Just $1475 here since the staging fee paid for the bulk of the cost. Message me here to view it and purchase it. Thanks.
