It features Aaltos signature L-legs, lengths of birch strategically bent for stability and strength to support the round seat. The look is finished off with a bent plywood back. Founded in Finland in 1935 by four self-proclaimed idealists, Artek stands strong on the companys ethics, product aesthetics and ecology.
