Very cool Framed Vintage Maritime Lithograph Print - The Alfred Flagship. Add a beautiful sense of history and seafaring adventure to your home with this vintage maritime art piece. Titled The Alfred, the print depicts the historic 18th-century vessel, noted on the bottom edge as the Flagship of Americas First Naval Squadron. The print showcases the majestic warship with its rigging fully detailed against a dramatic, cloudy sunset sky, surrounded by other harbor vessels. The lithograph is signed in the plate by the artist (bottom right corner) and is set within a built-in off-white paper mat border. It is beautifully housed inside an ornate, scalloped vintage wooden frame with a warm antiqued gold/bronze metallic finish. It’s an ideal decorative piece for a traditional study, a home library, a coastal-themed room, or for anyone who loves military or naval history. Dimensions & Specifications: Title: The Alfred (Flagship of Americas First Naval Squadron) Total Frame Dimensions: A versatile size for gallery walls or smaller spaces, measuring approximately 8.5 inches wide by 11.5 inches tall. Display: The reverse side is fitted with a vintage broken hanging string strung between two secure metal eyelet tacks. Honest Condition Report: This is an authentic, aged vintage item that wears its history openly. Art & Matting: The lithograph print itself retains its rich, warm colors. The integrated off-white paper mat border shows some age-related toning/browning and fine specks of dust or foxing under the glass. The art is lose in the matting and moves when you tilt it. It would ideally be secured and/or reframed. Glass: The glass front is fully intact with no cracks. It is dirty behind the glass. The Wood Frame: The ornate frame is structurally tight and solid. Visually, it features a heavily distressed vintage patina. There are several noticeable chips and scrapes to the gold finish that expose the bare, lighter wood underneath—specifically a chip on the top right edge, a long scrape along the left vertical side ridge, and smaller nicks along the bottom border. Backing: The back features a simple cardboard backing held in place by vintage metal framing points. The original paper backing has mostly torn away over time, leaving a rustic border around the edges. Pickup Details: Location: Local pickup in Ventura, California. This poster is EXTREMELY RARE from the early 80s. Absolutely steal of a price. Innova brand stand al 1 bobbin winder. Bought new from dealer in December 2023 for $240 and it’s had very minimal use. I have a second winder now and don’t need 2. Winder can wind Size M and L bobbins super fast with excellent results meaning no more soft or squishy bobbins to cause thread tension issues or breaks. Saves wear on your machine winding bobbins.
