Late 60s retro style at its best! The Kimberly Apollo guitars were made in Japan by Kawai/Teisco, and sold in North America as the “Deluxe 4 Pick-up Solid Body Electric Guitar” (it cost $44.95 new). A stunning green-burst guitar - styled after the Eko Kadett guitars from Italy - the Kimberly Apollo (often called the “Bison”) crams four great sounding gold-foil pickups on a twin horned body with a huge tremolo arm and a forest of knobs and switches to complete the cool factor. Each pickup has its own off/on switch and volume control. One tone control knob. The guitar plays well with low action. It has a roundish Fender feeling neck with a 24 3/4 scale length and 1 5/8 nut width. Comes with strap and padded gig bag. $700. Cash only.
