1983 Honda V65 Magna (VF1100C) original muscle bike excellent mechanical condition Paint and cosmetics okay. Rich metallic blue with lots of polished aluminum and some bullet hole decals covering blemishes. Wicked fast! Not typically considered a beginner’s bike. mileage (bike): 29,300 miles (still being ridden) mileage (engine): 18,000 miles V65 Magnas were ubiquitous (plentiful and everywhere). Prices start as low as $600 (or free). Bikes that actually run as low as $1000-1500. These bikes are normally project bikes with lots of mechanical issues. V65 forums are filled with stories of buying cheaper bikes and then ending up paying more to fix them than they would have buying one in great condition to begin with. Or spending so much time they eventually give up. Here’s your chance to buy one that is well maintained and ready to go. If you dont know about the Rocket lll, Google it and read reviews. It is really an incredible bike! The big 3 cylinder motor is incredibly smooth and the torque is simply exhilarating... Adult owned - Excellent condition 2009 Triumph Rocket III - Looks great: Black Diamond Dust paint, beautiful chrome, great condition seat and runs even better! Liquid cooled 2300cc 3 cylinder, 150hp and 148 ft/lb torque at only 2500rpm 5 speed with shaft drive Massive 240 Avon Cobra Chrome rear tire OEM accessory Triumph TORS mufflers with custom tune (originals included) OEM Triumph accessory windscreen OEM Triumph accessory backrest/rack Kuryakyn foot pegs Replaced the battery last season. Had the front forks rebuilt with new seals, new/upgraded Progressive brand springs and heavier fork oil to minimize front end dive during braking. 15,967 miles - These big engines are bulletproof and often top 100,000 miles without major repairs. It has incredible power but also comfort for longer rides. It has been trouble free and always reliable but Ive got 10 other great bikes (including 4 other Rockets), so I finally need to start thinning the herd.
