Offering a very old, antique childrens horse swing, similar to childrens rocking horses but its a swing suspended on its own base. It looks similar to the 1920s Mengel Playthings (Louisville, KY) Swans Glider, but Im not sure if its actually a Mengel. Never seen anything like it and seems rare. Minor damage to a corner of the outside wood frame, but it is still very solid and the metal rod does not rely on that part of the wooden outside frame to hold the glider where the child would sit. 1 c.1920 Chinese Sterling Silver Overlay Decanter on a Dimple Pinch scotch bottle. The silver is VERY heavy and thick, much more so than most other silver-overlay decanters. It stands just under 9 inches tall with the stopper in. The stopper is complete but the cork has dried out, so it doesnt have a real tight fit. The cork can be replaced. as the mount screws in. There is no lifting of the silver and none is missing. It is marked STERLING on the bottom, but my phone was not able to record it properly. I included 2 pics...perhaps you can make it out. There are 3 pics of the front of the decanter cause it is 3-sided. This pale green nephrite [its specific gravity measures 2.95] has been carved into a little bug-eyed one-horned goat or antelope complete with a smile. It stands 1 3/4 inches tall.... maybe 5 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest point. There is some noticeable erosion. The nephrite is hard and glossy.... scratch tested with a Victorian carbon steel lancet. It weighs about 180 grams. There appears to be a small chip or abrasion on the top of the left ear Age guesstimate: early 20th C.
