Number in stock: 3 *I added the Bentwood Chair by Thonet in the first pics and the Brown Chair by Boling chair (very similar design) to offer as options for pairing or a 4th chair *Bentwood Thonet (Saarinen Style) is $145 I have a great Pair of Mid Century Chairs for sale by Thonet. Thonet is a furniture company based in Austria which started in the 1880s. They were known for their bentwood furniture that was very durable and affordable for the common man. Thonet experienced a renaissance in the mid twentieth century where their simple lines and designs meshed well with Mid Century Modern design. The chairs are not bentwood, but have solid maple frames which have great lines and detail. Even better, they have their original upholstery which is what I call, Tangerine--a slightly muted orange color which really makes the upholstery pop. The arms have some wear which shows the beautiful natural wood below. I decided not to touch them up in anyway, because I thought the slight gentle wear really complimented the patina of the wood and chair as a whole. The chairs are in excellent structural and aesthetic shape.
