This is the best designed swamp cooler ever! Im only selling it because it is too small for my house. It does not rust. I only has 1 pad that wraps all the way around, so the entire circumference is open to the air. Samons sells the aspen pad for it, which are much better than the blue pads. It works great, but is missing the electrical plugs. That is why Im selling it at a big discount. I searched Google for Swamp Cooler Electrical Plug Junction Box and found 1 for $30. It attaches to the cooler with 2 screws. I like it better than a real air conditi 1 r because it brings in fresh air all day, and humidifies the house. I believe it is healthier than recirculating the same stale air in the house. I paint the top with white paint to protect the fiberglass from the sun, and keep it cooler. 1/2 h.p. rated swamp coolers will usually cool from 1400-1600 s.f. Includes fan belt and pump hose.
