Hello Everyone, I can no longer receive Craigslist emails, my contact information is written below**. Thanks. I have for sale 2 gorgeous antique Japanese stacking Tansu chests with drawers. Each end has a pull up handle to carry them with, it slides back down afterward (pictured). They definitely have a lot of signs of age and use. They were most likely used every day for decades. Beautiful antique iron hardware (none missing) and real locks, not just for looks. These would have originally owned by a person of little means, a humble Japanese home. I like these so much more than the highly finished and more elaborate ones, they just have so much character. Drawers operate as they should. Made strongly of simple lightweight pine wood, it’s extreme age has mellowed it to a beautiful dark golden glow. The measure each 21 1/2 inches tall x 38 1/2 inches wide x 16 inches deep.
