We have a Rice Lake RL-DBS digital baby scale for $75. These commercial scales retail for several times more! The scale measures at 23.63W x 15D x 3.94H. This scale has a built in measuring tape on the top can measure up to 22.5in. The scale can weigh up to 44lbs and 5oz. The scale can read both lbs and kg. It is powered by 4 AA batteries. The scale has been tested and still works well. Although this is typically used for babies in hospitals, you can definitely repurpose it for a kitchen setting.
