Really really nice vintage Danish modern curved top writing / computer desk, designed by Frode Holm For Illums Furniture of Denmark. Solid construction, very well built and has great styling to it. Its being sold in slightly more well worn shape than I typically bring to this market, but its also priced accordingly. The upper left corner of the the desk has some white spotting as shown, not sure what it is, but its in the finish. Could be refinished of course. Comes with keys! Which is a bit of a rarity. Some minor chipping to the drawer faces, a repaired crack to one leg, and just general wear from the decades of use. Measurements: 56 wide, 28 deep and 29.25 tall. Condition: Good overall vintage condition, has wear, some veneer chipping, finish spots, etc, as shown... Here is how it works. Cash and carry at the Somerville Flea this Sunday, 8/9, 10am to 4pm. Item is a one piece vintage Tel City corner maple hutch and cabinet unit. Bottom foot or so of the exterior of the piece has damage from spending an extended amount of time in the path of a spray of water (as opposed to being submerged), with exterior finish discoloration and wood splits as a result; top of unit is untouched - see pictures. As such, piece may be a good candidate for antiquing with a white paint or the like. Bottom of hutch has triangular storage cabinet with 22.5 x 22.5 wood door and one fixed shelf. Top of hutch has 36 x 22 glass door triangular display case with two fixed shelves. Both doors open and close easily and magnetically latch properly. From back corner straight out to front of unit is about 19.5. From back corner to sides, 21.5. 34 across width. 70.5 tall.

Drop all your broken crap off at this place called Savers in Danvers. They do not care if its working or not. They will often just break it put it right in the dumpster before it even enters the building even if its brand new and unused. I have seen this happen right in front of me quite a few times when shopping near the back doors there. There are often workers in the left side of the building that collect the items who make this decision and they are lazy on this decision on what stays and goes and mostly throw away everything and only put a few crappy items out to make them look busy. The manager there seems to not care about this and lets them do what they want. The donation collectors are basically garbage men working at a thrift store and dont care at all. So if you think you items are going for a good cause or to be re-used you could not be so wrong. Why waste a trip and time? If you dont want to bring anything there put your items on the sidewalk, take a picture with your free downloadable Craigslist for Android and Apple app devices and let other people make those decisions on what to take. All you need is at least one picture. It is so much easier too. When garbage day comes around they will clean up the rest and it us usually stuff no one wants. Take the rest of that stuff to Savers Danvers in a tape seal box and drop it off if the garbage men dont take it. They will not know the difference. Check out the YELP SAVERS Danvers homepage and read the comments as well as the hidden comments which are on the grey area at the bottom of the comments. You will find a lot if interesting facts in there. If you are a buyer there just remember that you are buying someone else s junk that was probably taken from a garbage pile and you are paying good money for it. Ask the manger for a discount if you think the price is too high. He will often give you a bargain if you are at the checkout and ask the cashier.
