Custom made in early 70s. 4 wide x 6 tall x 15 deep shelves. Estimate at 120 lbs. Shedua is 5 x 3/4 with two 6 lengths on front and two on back. Two 16 1/2 lengths on bottom and on top. Five birdseye maple shelves 3/4 thick x 15 deep x 4 long. Finished with Danish Oil. Approximately 120 lbs. Shedua (Guibourtia ehie), commonly known as Ovangkol or Amazique, is a prized, durable hardwood from Equatorial West Africa, often featuring golden-to-medium-brown tones with black, gray, or dark brown streaks. It is popular for musical instruments (guitar backs/sides), high-end furniture, cabinetry, veneer, and turning. Birdseye maple is a highly prized and rare variation of hard maple (Acer saccharum), known for its distinctive small, circular eye patterns scattered across the wood.
