Offered item is original owner’s 1996 LaBarge Model No. TR81, Hollywood Regency Style, Oval Brass & Glass Coffee Table featuring a heavy, scalloped-edge glass top with a solid, fixed brass base. CONDITION: EXCELLENT. The removable glass top is flawless, with no deep or superficial scratches. There are no glass chips along its beveled brass border. The solid brass frames’ finish is very bright, in much better than “evenly aged” condition, lacking any moderate or heavy pitting. The table’s brass shows no signs of discoloration, fading or patina. Crafted from high-quality brass, the frame and base piece boast a polished, reflective surface that highlights its 20th-century craftsmanship. Several minor oxidation spots are located on the top sections of three (3) of the base legs. Purchased January 28, 1996 (photos nos. 6-7 - AMEX Receipt / Invoice) at Eastern Sales & Market, Atlanta, GA. The price is $500. This price is firm and non-negotiable. Please dont ask for a discount or make an offer. For sale is a genuine teak wood table that is generally used in a home entryway, in a living room, or dining room. But it can also be used in other settings and for other purposes. Its usually called an entryway table, sofa table, or console table. This table was handmade by Haslev Mobler / Mobelfabrik in Denmark. It is from the Scandinavian mid-century-modern (MCM) genre of furniture, first made popular in the 1950s and 1960s. The overall size of the table is 48 wide, 16.8 deep, and 24.25 tall. It is constructed of a top teak wood platform, which has an insert for the glass. At the bottom are four removable teak wood legs that screw into the top wooden platform. Altogether, the table can be dis-assembled into six total pieces. All teak wood pieces are solid through and through, and not just teak veneer over MDF. The pieces on the top platform are made of solid wood beams that are 2.25 wide and 1.75 tall. The four top beams are secured to each other using a type of dovetail joint. The four removable legs are also made of solid wood beams that are about 2.25 in diameter and 22.5 tall. The removable smoked glass insert on the tabletop measures 43.4 long and 12.1 deep. The reinforced and tempered glass measures 0.25 in height. The entire table is extremely sturdy, but it only weighs about 20 pounds! The table is in excellent condition. Structurally, its in incredibly robust condition, with no wood bending, warping, or fatigue. The legs screw into the top panel with ease, but lock with incredible sturdiness. The glass insert is perfectly intact. Cosmetically, everything is also in excellent condition, especially considering its several decades old. There are some extremely tiny scratches on some teak surfaces from normal wear. But these cosmetic issues dont significantly detract from the beauty of the teak grain. There are also some extremely tiny smudges on the glass panel. You can pick up the table from my house near the San Jose Airport. After removing the legs and glass insert, you may be able to fit this into a standard sized passenger car. I can help you load it into your car. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction. I prefer that you reach out via text message. Sending an initial email message is OK. But arranging pickup solely using email is not a feasible option for me. Eventually, youll have to text me to arrange a specific pickup or delivery time. Thanks.
