The foundation is in two parts so it easy to take it up stairs, through hallways etc. Solid wood construction has removeable slats that make this easier to move around and set up. Mattress can go directly on top, no need for box spring. Large legs are recessed so your feet dont hit them if you are standing close to the bed. Ample space under platform allows for easy cleaning and potential for storage. Approximately 2 gaps between slats offer ventilated support. Once you have your bedding on your mattress you cant really see much of the low profile platform at all. 15 from floor to top. Approx 62 wide x 67 long x 15 high. I can accommodate height modifications by special order. I also have a twin, a full and queen of similar design - See my other ads . Note: this is the standard king size. I also make the Cal King Size (6 wide x 7 long) upon request - it can take a few days to a week for order requests.
