You won’t find another one of these because they were just made. Rare Neese crates that were used years ago for delivery and returned to the factory have been repurposed into side tables. These are rare because of the vintage, the legible lettering, the top and crate are a matching set and the top sits on a groove. Top is removable to store your keepsakes or items you don’t want your family to find ;-) Base is attached by Velcro as to not penetrate the original wood bottom. The legs are 16” and new. Cleaned and has a fresh coat of satin polyurethane with the original blonde wood I have two of theses Era Delivery Method 1917 James Theodore (Mr. Thede) Neese sold hand-ground sausage from a covered wagon. 1925 The company upgraded to a Dodge screen-sided truck for daily deliveries in Greensboro and High Point. Mid-20th Century The iconic wooden crates were the standard for store deliveries as the company expanded into Charlotte and beyond. Early Delivery: Before the widespread use of refrigerated trucks and plastic bins, Neese’s delivered their signature brick sausage to local markets in sturdy wooden boxes. Design and Durability: The crates were built to withstand the weight of numerous one-pound bricks of sausage and liver pudding. They often featured the company’s logo, which includes a recognizable plump hog silhouette. Dimensions: A standard crate typically measures approximately 15 x 11.5 x 5. They were designed to hold the companys signature rectangular one-pound blocks of sausage, a shape famously chosen by the founder so the product wouldnt roll out of the truck. • Historical Context: These crates were likely in heavy use from the 1920s through the mid-20th century. By 1925, the company had transitioned to using screen-sided trucks for daily deliveries in Greensboro and High Point, and these durable wooden boxes were essential for transporting fresh meat safely before plastic crates became the industry standard.

Known for his marine landscapes, painter John Bradley Hudson studied under Charles Octavius Cole around 1850. Like many 19th-century artists, he was an ornamental painter who decorated signs, coaches, fire buckets, and fireplace boards. Hudson was one of the many artists who painted in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the late 1800s, and he wrote Journey to the White Mountains in 1859, a diary which he illustrated profusely. His work was exhibited at the Boston Athenaeum in 1868. Hudson resided and worked in Portland, Maine, from the late 1850s until the 1890s before moving to Massachusetts. The price is $600. This price is firm and non-negotiable. Please dont ask for a discount or make an offer. For sale is an extremely long table that can fold in half for storage. The table has wheels that allow you to easily move it. But its extremely heavy-duty. The load capacity is 800 pounds! The table itself weighs about 150 pounds! When in use, the entire table measures about 3 feet wide, 8 feet long, and 2.5 feet tall. The table top surface sits about 2.5 feet off of the ground. When fully folded for storage, the table measures about 3 feet wide, 2.5 feet long, and 5 feet tall. The idea of folding the table for storage is that you minimize the floor footprint of the table. In other words, when in storage, the table takes about one-third (1/3) the space, as compared to when its in use. This type of table is what you would normally find in a large, institutional cafeteria or canteen, the type that serves schools, universities, hospitals, corporations, religious organizations, the military, or government agencies. But it can also be used in other settings. For example, I used this as a temporary work station table for my home improvement projects. And my wife used this as a temporary work station for her gardening work. When we were done with our temporary projects, we simply folded the table up to minimize its footprint, and then moved it inside our garage for storage, until the next project. We recently upgraded to another table and this one is no longer needed. The table is a Virco brand, from their MT series of tables. This is model number MT3096. This table has a chrome frame, black edge banding, and a grey nebular table surface coating. The specific part number is MT3096-GRY091BLK01-CHRM. Complete technical details are located on the Virco website here: https://virco.com/product/mt-series-mobile-table-30-x-96-top/ Here is a summary: The table is constructed of two main elements, including A) the bottom metal frame and B) the top MDF wood table surface. As mentioned previously, the table weighs about 150 pounds. This is due to the generous use of steel and MDF wood as materials of construction. The bottom of the table is constructed of extremely heavy-duty steel tubes that are each 1.5 thick. A number of these tubes are welded together to form a very robust metal frame. The left and right sections of the table have separate metal frames that are connected together in the center by a set of giant metal hinges. The metal frame touches the ground in six places. Two of the touch-points are on the left side. Two of the touch-points are on the right side. And two of the touch-points are in the middle. The touch-points on the left and right sides terminate in caster wheels that are each 4 tall. Its possible to lock these wheels in place. The touch-points in the middle terminate in rubber feet. Using the wheels, you can easily move the table around. Or you can lock the wheels in place to prevent any movement. The top of the table is constructed of two sets of 0.75 thick solid MDF wooden sheets, one for each side of the table. Each wooden sheet is physically connected to the metal frame beneath it using a number of very long and thick screws. Each wooden sheet is coated with a grey colored laminate surface that resists stains and is easy to clean. As a reminder, the table is composed of separate left and right-hand sides, which are physically connected together by giant hinges in the middle. Its possible to push the middle portions of each sections up and toward each other using these hinges. Doing so allows you to fold the entire table in half for storage. Pictures 13 to 17 show this folding transformation in action. Picture 13 is when the table is in use. Picture 17 is when the table is completely folded for storage. In the stored form, the table looks like a giant triangle with the left and right sides of the table forming two vertical sides of the triangle, with the ground being the third side of the triangle. Upon folding, you can secure the two sides together using a metal bracket that locks the two sections together. This metal bracket prevents the table from unfolding and resorting back to the flat table form. If you have a flat floor composed of wood, vinyl, or another minimum friction surface, its possible for one person to fold the table without the help of a second person. The table is in excellent structural and functional condition. There is nothing functionally wrong with it. The two separate table tops are still flat, with no clear bending, warping, or other deterioration of the MDF panels or the laminated surface coating. The metal frame underneath has no clear concerns. There is no deterioration of any of the metal support tubes within the frame. All of the hinges work perfectly and smoothly with no problems. The wheels still spin perfectly and smoothly. The wheel locks open and close as they should. The locked wheels are very secure. The locking bracket also is excellent, with no concerns. The table is also in excellent cosmetic condition. There are some small scratches on the metal frame and top laminate surface. And one side of the table has a extremely tiny cut in the top MDF sheet, which measures about 0.5 long and 5mm wide. The good news is that these cosmetic issues dont harm the structural integrity of the table, which is robust. Please note that no chairs are included in the purchase. You are only getting the folding table. You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. Given the large size of the table, even in the folded form, an SUV or truck is necessary. It will NOT fit within a standard passenger-sized vehicle. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction. I have an SUV that will fit this. I prefer that you reach out via text message. Sending an initial email message is OK. But arranging pickup solely using email is not a feasible option for me.
