I have no idea what to call these, but I have a lot of them. They are all black, metal, and have plastic connectors that hold them together. Most of them come together to create a modular section that can hold a 12x12 storage cube at the smallest. There are a handful that are larger than that from another set, but will only make 4-ish cubes. I used these for a variety of things from holding plants to storage nooks and I know they can be used for pets as well. Some might be a bit dusty, and there may be some minor bending or a plastic piece that has been stressed. Overall, though, in great condition. I no longer have a need for them and they take up space. You can even have the laundry hamper they come in for free. I do not have the exact count, but I even have extra plastic connector pieces that are part of the deal.
