Received this super-automatic espresso machine as a gift, but already have an espresso machine. This unit costs over $1000 new with sales tax. Unopened box, so you can still activate the warranty under your name. This machine does not make fake espresso by adding air to create foam with a pressurize basket, instead it uses the real espresso method of grinding coffee beans to the right size to generate the pressure with the coffee grounds. Thus, it does have an advanced grinder to automatically optimize the grinder setting. Automatically makes milk foam for drinks like cappuccino, latte, latte macchiato etc. along with all cold brewed coffee and cold milk drinks. The Autobarista Pro has 2 interchangeable coffee hoppers that can be quickly switched out with no bean carry over or mess ... for example, hopper one is moms caffeinated coffee for her wake up brew, and hopper two is sons decaf for his milk drinks. The machine keeps track of the separate hoppers optimal grind size etc. Two users can customize their own menus and recipes. Truly a high end machine at an affordable price compared to other super automatic espresso machines like Jura or DeLonghi.
