The price for both stools is $400. I wont sell individual stools, so please dont ask. This price is firm and non-negotiable. Please dont ask for a discount or make an offer. For sale is a set of two (2) sitting stools. These are Crate and Barrel brand, model number 3261717. These were purchased at their Santana Row retail store about a decade ago. They no longer sell these particular stools. These stools are 30 tall. The sitting area, where your butt sits, is 30 off of the ground. Based on this height, these stool are intended for sitting at a bar, counter, or other tall table that is around 40 - 42 tall. These stools are not intended for standard-height dining tables, which require the seating area to be around 18 off of the ground. Of course, you can use these stools for other purposes and intentions. I used them in my kitchen next to a counter-height prep table. Many people use them as plant stands. Besides being 30 in height, each stool measures about 15 wide and 15 deep. The round disk at the top for the seating area, measures about 15 in diameter. Nearly all portions of the stool are constructed of silver-colored brushed aluminum alloy. Based on this, they are extremely lightweight, but also extremely sturdy. The load weight of each stool is 300 pounds! But each weighs only about 15 pounds. These are not the cheap steel bar stools that you can purchase from Amazon for $100. The bottom frame is composed of vertical beams that are welded together along with four horizontal cross beams, all made of aluminum alloy. These support beams are 1.15 thick. These vertical beams are welded to a large circle-shaped aluminum beam at the top. The four legs are secured to a rotating, swiveling steel disk using heavy-duty steel bolts. The rotating disk is secured, also using steel bolts, to the top seat, which is a thick, rounded sheet of aluminum. Because a rotating disk is used, the top seat is capable of rotating or swiveling completely around. There are no locks on the seat to prevent rotation. The four legs terminate in plastic end-caps to prevent scratching your wooden floors. Both stools are in excellent structural and functional condition. All aluminum support beams at the bottom are perfect with no warping. The rounded aluminum sheet that comprises the seat is also perfect with no warping. The rotating steel disk near the top still rotates with ease and with little friction. The end-caps at the bottom of each leg are perfect. The stool is also in excellent cosmetic condition. There are a few extremely tiny scratches on some aluminum surfaces, but most are not noticeable, unless you are specifically looking for them. These tiny cosmetic issues dont harm the structural integrity of the stools. Pictures 3 to 13 are the first stool. Pictures 14 to 24 are of the second stool. As a reminder, they are functionally and cosmetically identical. You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction. I prefer that you reach out via text message. Sending an initial email message is OK. This gorgeous piece is from the Bob Timberlake vintage Lexington collection w/ embossed signature, featuring solid wood construction and solid brass hardware, beautiful woodgrain and a distressed finish. There is a small center storage cabinet and 4 dovetailed drawers (one that is divided and felt lined) with faux locks. Made in NC, mid to late 20th Century.
