ALL INFO is posted (today) on my Ebay, item# 287381048727 Simply goto Ebay website & search for a keyword/item# 287381048727 Ebay listing also explains Why selling & Where this unit/device came from So whats the point of also posting ad on Craigslist ? - simple: IF YOU order thru here (Craigslist) youd save approx $140-160 or so AND youd see physical item before paying, b/c new Ebay (since some years ago) forces buyers to pay Sales Tax regardless of how small or big transaction is, whereas here(on Craigslist) we can sell person-to-person w/no tax (& even if I add this tiny income when filing my taxes next year it wont affect my Use Tax or Tax Bracket anyway) Secondly, as you may know, Ebay collects exuberant Fee from us sellers = 13% for each sale (except clothing ?) & that rises to 15%(?) specifically for smartphones, jewelry/watches, cars (?), whereas no such burden (no fees) for sellers on Craigslist - which, allows us (incl me) sellers to much lower price on Craigslist or in other words price on Ebay is INFLATED up b/c we sellers are forced to lose 13-15-20% to Ebay fees. SO, a combination of NO Sales Tax for buyer + NO fees for seller results in a nice(huge) saving here on Craigslist, but you can still order on Ebay anyway, if you prefer it for whatever reason (& willing to pay more, there) ALSO, you may avoid Shipping cost (Craigslist locals) vs Ebay (non.local means Shipping), even tho I kind of prefer to ship rather than meet strangers in.person in our building or apartment :), but at.least youve a choice - I either ship Nationwide or you come/pickip in NewYork.City The downside? Craigslist is insecure Trading & Classifieds platform unlike totally safe & corporate style Ebay, eg Ebay has Customer.Service, Guarantees/Protections... while Craigslist doesnt, so its upto you - want total security, then do Ebay & pay $100s more, or want significantly lower price - then deal thtu Craigslist ie message/email/call me. Since Iam a professional Electronics Engineer/Physicist Iam not stupid so all fraudsters/hackers/etc scum please stay away as well detect fraudulent buyer instantly, but the good people/buyers - youre welcome to take this device -> either message me here on Craigslist or goto Ebay item# 287381048727 If you buy for yourself, youll probably activate it on your account as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) & thus you should receive (Free) eSIM from carrier (AT&T in this case). However, thats just one of several ways to install new Smartphone for yourself - Iam not an expert but BYOD method is what people probably typ choose, other methods is upto you... And, as you know, Samsung Galaxy S26+ Black new device official price from carriers & mfg/Samsung/itself is $1,100 + Tax ($97 on top of $1,100 !), whereas here I ask significantly less & NO Tax... nice savings =========== P.S. If you INSIST on electronic payments eg but NOT limitd.to Zelle, VenMo, PayPal, Etc.etc instead of Cash - first off PayPal charges approx 2.9% fee so youd need to add that - MAKES NO SENSE for you (& thats by the way one of several reasons prices on Ebay are higher than by cash here/Craigslist), of all these digital methods Zelle remains unique/best in my opinion b/c still No.fees (or are they charging a fee nowdays ?...Ive not used it in several years), BUT ! if you do Cash Iam willing to drop price by $20 or so - reason is experiencing hardship, parents is part of my stress (& you can guess selling new Smartphone, 2nd nearly new Laptop, Etc.etc is for that reason to plug more urgent hole i.e rent, car maintenance, etc) - Id rather not show such (Zelle or Whatever) income on bank activity b/c Creditors & City gov can see $600-700 & erroneously count it as income from side job/gig (which in reality is NOT) & label me as misleading about my hardship/low income. The situation is temporary but as short as it is I still rather not pester on bank statement w/incomes ovef $500.
