Vintage 1950s Stakmore Cane Back Folding Chair Set for Restoration Such a cool set, but sadly in need of some love. Cane is nearly passable on all but one, one is missing hardware connecting the folding arm to the seat base (2 screws), vinyl passable on two, but a refurb on all to match likely due. One cross brace on the front has a crack, but likely easily fixable. Some frames better than others. Mechanism from folded to open just requires a quick pop out and they slide down. Likely a black lacquered solid birch frame common of the era. Early run out of Oswego. Dimensions: ~31.5H X 16W X 20.5D (Seat ~18H). Asking $100 for the set. Cash/Zelle (preferred) or Venmo. Antique Chinese Painting Table (Circa early of 19th century) is handcrafted in Ming Style with simple and straight lines. Four elegantly shaped legs, ending in horse hoof feet and humpback stretchers. The table was originally made as a calligraphy painting table. The table is a typical Waist style of Ming furniture. The waist just below the tabletop is made from a separate piece of wood and carved in a narrower waist connecting the tabletop and the table body in a unique way. The table is made from a core of elmwood with beautiful wood grain handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and a tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Beautifully aged top will make an astonishing wine table, accent table or console table in a hallway, entryway, living room, or dining room. Dimensions: 37”W x 18.5”D x 33.5”H Condition: Excellent structural condition. All joints are still firm and tight. Original patina and wear. Please see photos.
