This is a Civil War era small writing desk, I’ve had a number of them before but this is by far the best. Usually very plain, this one has beautiful delicate turnings dripping off the case. This is some of the very first manufactured furniture as it’s from the dawn of the industrial revolution. It’s complete except for one small end of the finials is missing (piictured). It has a drawer on the front and the back is also beautifully finished. It doesn’t have to be against a wall. The top has some little dents from its extreme age but the color and finish are great.
